Best Washer ever

This is my second LG washer with the Steam function. This model is a little higher capacity than my old LG washer. This washer has the terrific flexibility with settings allowing for additional rinses delayed run times and more. The Steam function is a great feature for sanitizing virtually any fabric. The washer is much quicker and more efficient than my old model which was very good and does a great job cleaning our laundry.

HOURS on hold w/ no results

After just 2 years the washer has a major error code. I tried to fix it per the Manual instructions --- no luck. Then I called the help number and that started a series of wasted time entries in my phone 2 phone chats which both shut me off a phone call 3 hours after I started seeking repair which provided inaccurate information on my repair timing no return call to seek up a repair time THEN ---- when I call them they inform me there is NO service in my area and provided me 2 authorized repair #s for ME to call. They couldnt help. So --- after about 4 hours on various contacts and 2 weeks I still dont have a repair option.

I like the washer and dryet set. Sleek look and solidly built. User friendly. Instructions are clear and you do not feel like you have to obtain a secondary degree trying to figure out the bells and whistles. The IQ is interesting linking the devices to your home internet / phone. I am still learning that one so will not comment on that capability. NOTE: I purchased directly from LG and saved about 800.00 dollars from the local competitors. And the shipping was 4 weeks faster than reported by the competitors as well.

If I look it dsys the unit is off but I havent figured out how to eet my phone to make an audio sound when the washer is complete. I read reviews on Consumer Reports and selected this model based on the reviews which were maybe the highest of the washers rated. I have to say that it lives up to the reviews. Quiet no vibration many options for types of laundry uses way less water than my old top load washer. I have nothing but good things to say. Great clothes dryer but a challenge with bedding

We bought this washer about a month ago and it has done an excellent job with washing clothing. Like most of the front load washers weve had it has challenges with getting balanced when washing bedding. We attempted to wash a brand new bedding comforter and the washer could not get balanced on its own. We ended up needing to add towels to the washer so that it could balance and complete the wash cycle. Further it would be helpful if it had a spin only cycle.

Do Not Buy This Washing Machine

Unhappy Customer in VA 5/1/2023

I bought this washing machine in November 2022. One day after owning the machine it began to leak from the air vent and under the machine. Unfortunately Home Depot wont take it back after 48 hours so dont buy it from them go to Best Buy they give you 15 days. When the leaking begins LG will tell you that it is because of the soap you are using or you are using too much. This is a complete lie. We own two of these machines and one is at our beach rental house and one is at our home. The one at the beach rental never has an issue but the one at our house does. We use Kirkland brand HE laundry detergent in both machines so there is no difference. I have called LG multiple times and the repair person has come out and replaced the floater bobbin. They state since it does not leak when they are at my home that there is no problem. How about when you come to my house lets put some soap in the machine and some clothes so we can get a real example of what the machine is doing? Instead they just run it empty with plan water and think it will perform the same way. I spoke with an ambassador at LG who was no help at all. They dont care that their product is defective and they will do nothing to get you a new machine. Dont buy their products they are pure junk

Quickly Washes Clothes

I have used the washer for a few weeks. So far it has exceeded my expectations. Programing the WiFI function was a little challenging. Only disappointment is the pedestal with drawer needs to be 15 inch high like my old washer not13 inch. As I can no longer stand bottles in the drawer the exceed 10 1/4 inch in height.

Good machine overall

I bought this a few weeks ago. So far I like how it washes clothes with no residue. There is no light in the machine and th e panel is very cluttered and dark. It should be all back kit for easier reading.

My LG dryer has all the bells and whistles of my last one. Seems that lint trap to small and some debris accumulates inside door. We are going to call LG to help fix.

Upon delivery and installation everything seemed fine until my wife came home to use it - it would not balance and the front seal was twisted out of shape. This necessitated a repair call from an LG certified repairman in our area. He discovered a simple issue with an interior spring being disconnected somehow. I previously bought an LG TROMM washer and dryer. They were 18 years old and if the washer couldve been repaired I would still be using them. They were great These are just as nice with a few new features. I like the durability of the LG appliances.

We are thoroughly impressed with new washer. The AI is so unique how it measures your load of clothes and calculates how long it will take to wash the load. Turbo wash makes our clothes even cleaner than we could ever imagine. There are so many features here I would need a book to go through them all. Coming from a 13 year old washer this washer has launched us into the future of technology for doing your laundry. On top of all that this machine is an energy star with a 10 year warranty on the motor. And you can download the LG THINQ app to monitor your usage and keep up on maintenance. Some of the cycles are not clear. In the instruction manual needs to be written more clearly. For example Steam and Allergiene mean? Also it needs too much maintenance. I never know if I have dried it sufficiently.

Great Purchase

I purchased this washer a month ago and I have been so happy with it. I love the Turbo Wash feature and the steam. After the spin cycle is finished it does not take long to dry the clothes especially with the companion dryer. So glad we spent a little more even though I resisted it at first. The capacity of the drum is awesome and I can do my laundry in less loads. I do not know yet how to use the Wi-Fi option but I will learn soon. My only complaint is I did not receive a manual with my washer but I did on my dryer. I will be contacting LG to obtain one as the store I purchased it from was not helpful.
